A wide printed strap across the bridge of the foot, a soft cushioned white footbed, and a silhouette that slips on in a second and works with everything from swim trunks to sweats.
The print does the heavy lifting. A grand red and gold carriage, performers in checkered costume, tigers, elephants, and a vintage steam engine below, finished with the word PEERLESS in faded lettering, a nod to the old circus posters that inspired this entire collection. Deep earthy reds and vibrant golds lead the palette, warmed by ochres and browns with flashes of royal blue. It is nostalgia with a thoroughly modern attitude.
Take them to the pool, the beach, the mailbox, or a late-summer cookout when nobody wants to put on real shoes. They are lightweight, easy to rinse, and comfortable enough for a long afternoon of doing absolutely nothing.
