Somebody once told me that Monday is a reset button, not a punishment. I have carried that with me ever since.

Here is what I know about myself: I like plans. I like knowing where the day is going before it gets there. But some of the best things in my life showed up on days I had already fully scheduled. The right conversation. The open door. The idea that changed everything. None of them waited for my permission.

Going with the flow is not giving up control. It is loosening your grip just enough to let something better reach you. The river does not fight its own current, and it still arrives exactly where it is meant to be.

So this Monday, I am encouraging you to hold your plans loosely. Keep your standards high and your hands open. When the day bends, bend with it. Say yes to the detour. You are not behind if you take the long way. You are exactly where the lesson lives.

Flow is trust in motion. Trust the timing. Trust the detours. Trust the quiet voice that says keep going when the loud voice says give up.

Here is my challenge for the week ahead. Pick one plan you are gripping too tightly and give it some air. Let somebody else lead the meeting. Take the route you have never taken. Rest when the moment asks for rest instead of pushing when the moment asks for faith. You will discover that flow is not the opposite of discipline. Flow is discipline aimed at peace instead of pressure.

If this spoke to you on this Monday, do three things for me. Share it with somebody who needs the reminder. Leave a comment and tell me which line hit home. And subscribe so we can keep taking this journey together. Your voice matters here. #PatrickTCooper #BeEncouraged
