On a Tuesday I like to think about the people who make ordinary days feel like a gift. Today that means friendship. Not the kind that likes your photos. The kind that shows up.
Friends for life are rare currency. Everybody can be present when life is good. Real friends sit with you in the season nobody claps for. They call when you go quiet. They celebrate your wins like they are their own, and they tell you the truth even when a comfortable lie would be easier.
I have been in rooms full of people and still felt alone, and I have been at a small table with two friends and felt like the richest man in the world. The difference is not the room. It is the people in it.
If you have even one person who knows your story and still chooses you, protect that. Water it. Do not let pride or busyness thin it out. Life is long enough to lose things and short enough to miss them.
To everybody who has been a friend for life to me, thank you. You are the proof that God places people, not chance.
This week, pick one friend and honor them on purpose. Not because it is their birthday. Not because they did something for you. Just because they exist in your life and you have never said it out loud. Friendship survives on attention the same way a garden survives on water. Neglect is quiet, but it is still neglect. Water somebody this week.
If this spoke to you on this Tuesday, do three things for me. Share it with somebody who needs the reminder. Leave a comment and tell me which line hit home. And subscribe so we can keep taking this journey together. Your voice matters here. #PatrickTCooper #BeEncouraged
