Beyond the Vineyard: Creating Visibility for Arabia Mountain Vineyard
There is a difference between marketing a destination and creating a reason for people to discover it. That distinction is at the heart of how I approach my work. I do not believe my responsibility as a creative director ends with developing the brand, creating the visuals, managing the marketing or executing the campaign. I am constantly looking for the next opportunity to put a client in front of the right people and create experiences that make the brand worth talking about.
That was the approach I brought to Arabia Mountain Vineyard.
When I began looking at the brand, I saw more than a vineyard. I saw a destination with an opportunity to become part of the cultural conversation around Stonecrest and the greater Atlanta market. The challenge was not simply getting people to know the name. It was creating the kind of visibility that could make people want to experience the place for themselves.
## Creating Exposure Beyond the Marketing Plan
Through strategic local outreach, relationship building and creative storytelling, I worked to create additional exposure for Arabia Mountain Vineyard and position the property as more than a place to enjoy wine. I wanted to help establish it as a destination for connection, culture, community and memorable experiences.
That thinking also influenced concepts such as Sip & Stride Society and Soul Stroll Sundays, ideas designed to connect the vineyard to the lifestyle of the people and communities around it.
For me, this is what going beyond the brief looks like.
A client may hire me for branding, marketing, design and execution, but I am always thinking about what happens after the campaign. Who should know about this brand? What relationships should we develop? What experiences can we create? What story can we tell that gives people a reason to pay attention?
My philosophy has always been simple: do not wait for the opportunity to come to you. Create the opportunity.
Arabia Mountain Vineyard was another example of taking the brand beyond the expected and using creative direction, local outreach and strategic thinking to build greater visibility.
Because when I put my name behind a brand, I am not interested in simply making it look good.
I want to help make it matter.
