There are seasons when everything in you wants to quit, and the only word heaven seems to give is stand. That word is not a small word. It is a promise that what you are building is worth holding on to.
"Be Ye Steadfast" is a famous biblical phrase from 1 Corinthians 15:58 in the King James Version of the Bible, which also inspired the beloved 1982 gospel song "Be Ye Steadfast" by The Florida Mass Choir.
The verse finishes with a promise. Your labor is not in vain. Steadfastness is not about being loud or being perfect. It is about being immovable in the things that matter, abounding in the work you were given, even when the results are slow to show up.
Life will test your footing. People will disappoint you. Plans will shift. Your emotions will rise and fall like a tide. But the person who remains planted outlasts every season that tried to uproot them.
So today, be steadfast in your faith. Be steadfast in your purpose. Be steadfast in the standards you set when nobody was clapping yet. Roots grow in the dark, and so does strength.
Keep standing. Keep abounding. Keep believing that nothing about your obedience is wasted. The harvest is on schedule, and the One who called you is faithful to finish what He started in you.
